[Action: Somewhere in the village - Sakura Only]

[Taken from the battlefield, Hinata let out a gasp before she found herself waking up on the ground. She slowly stood, taking in the fact that she was wearing clothing that was decidedly not her uniform from the war. In fact, her arms and legs were sticking out of the flimsy white dress, making her feel extremely under-dressed.

As she turned around, she saw a flash of purple that seemed to remind her a little of the jacket from her normal outfit. She reached out to grab at the colorful thing and brought back a handful of lavender feathers. Suddenly, she was overcome with nausea and lightheadedness before she passed out, never noticing the familiar face of her pink-haired comrade from Konoha as the blackness took over her again.]

[Have a very confused looking hime-type, Luceti. Complete with the self-conscious blush.] E-excuse me. M-my name is Hyuuga Hinata. I have just arrived here to this village. [The camera shifts to point out her lavender wings.] If they serve no practical usage, why are they there? And am I the only one who discovered a brand on the back of their neck? They seem rather obvious.

[And she doesn't remember again. This is probably the third Hinata who has a different set of memories. Sometimes, Ino wonders if it'll happen to her too but she decides not to dwell on dismal things like that.

Giving the other girl a lopsided smile, she addresses her queries.]

About your wings, well, they serve as your life line so don't you even dare harm them. I don't know why they even decided on wings, though. Anyway, is someone coming to get you?

[Ino's first response is confusing, and Hinata tips her head ever slightly to the side.]

F-forgive me, Ino-san, but what do you mean by saying that I am back? I have only just arrived to...Luceti. [The name of the village is still strange on her tongue, but not impossible.]

Thank you for your advice about the wings, and Sakura-san found me upon my arrival.

Good to know Forehead already found you.

[As for the explanation of why she said she's back, Ino keeps the lopsided smile. How does she even begin explaining this?]

You might have only remembered this time and not the others. Don't worry, that happens here a lot especially to those who have been gone a while.

[The inside joke/nickname between Ino and Sakura wasn't lost on Hinata. She'd paid attention to their battle during their first time at the chunin exams. She'd also watched the two girls while they were all growing up. It wasn't that hard for her, considering she'd always been shuffled to the back of the room whenever there was a lesson because of her shy attitude.]

You are saying that I have been here before and I simply do not remember it? [She didn't like that. Her memory was nearly perfect, and to be told that parts were missing was like being told that her vision was faulty.] Sakura-san has told me that you and Tenten-san live close to the apartment that we are sharing.

[She shrugs. It's not really something rare in this place given how people come and go often enough and Hinata has been gone for months. The last one appeared to have the same set of memories Ino possesses, or at least, she remembers what she also remembers. This one, though, she's not quite sure. Judging from how everyone seems to be from that point in the war, Ino wouldn't be surprised if this Hinata's from the same period.]

It would appear so. I mean you don't remember this place, right? [A beat as she attempts a small smile.] Mm, yeah, we do. Most of the Konoha shinobi from our age group all live in the same floor except your teammate.

[While it's par for the course for Ino, Hinata is stuck trying to deal with it.] No, I do not remember anything about this place, Ino-san, but I do understand what you are saying. I-I will...I will deal with it in its own time and place, I suppose.

[She tries to return the smile, but fails. It's too difficult.] I hope to see everyone together soon. [The mention of a teammate has her perking up a bit.] Wh-which one, Ino-san?

Good. We're trained to adapt, anyway, whatever the circumstances may be. [Whether they like it or not.]

Well, Kiba's here too, if no one hasn't told you that yet. I think he's been here for a year and a half while I'm approaching my second in a few months.

Yes, that is a sign of a good shinobi, as Iruka-sensei used to say to us. [She smiles as she thinks about the man who spent so much energy trying to get them ready to graduate from the academy.]

Kiba-kun. [That's both a relief and a disappointment. Kiba was capable of watching after himself, she knew, but he was also hotheaded. Although, he didn't keep grudges the same way that Shino did.] No, I was not told that Kiba-kun was here. I am surprised that everyone has been her for so long and yet I just saw most of you before my arrival.

That's how this place works, apparently. [She sighs.] Has anyone also explained how time works here?

Yes, Sakura-san and Lee-san have explained the that to me. [There's a complicated expression on her face for a moment.] They have also explained that Neji-niisan is here as well.

Yeah, I've heard about Neji. [Actually saw it in passing, but that story's for another day. Ino's expression turns neutral.] I haven't lived through that yet, though.

S-so you're from an earlier point in time then? Sakura-san told me that that happens here. [And if Shikamaru-kun knew about Neji, it stood to reason that Ino did as well. They were a close team.] Where are you from exactly?

It does, fairly often, actually. [She sighs as she tries to remember what exactly was the last thing she remembers. With almost two years of memories of this place added by the memories she saw in Shikamaru's head, it takes her a little time before Ino can recall.]

Hm, well, I'm from when Naruto came back a hero after defeating the real Pain. We were starting village repairs when I was dragged here.

[So long ago... She remembered how angry Neji had been with her over her reckless behaviour, how Ko-san had been bitterly disappointed and proud at the same time that she'd been able to save Naruto from giving up but at the cost of her own well-being.]

Have things...have things been very difficult here for you?

[This time, Ino offers a small smile. That question's a little complicated to answer but she'll try her best.]

Yes and no. When this place isn't chaotic because of some experiment or when we're not drafted to fight some war outside this enclosure, it's peaceful overall.

[Hinata's eyes grow a little dull. More fighting, and for a cause she wasn't even sure she understood.]

We are drafted to fight? Against whom? By whom? I have not been able to fully find answers in this journal that was left to me when I arrived here.

You haven't?

[Well, time to be useful! Ino will then send this guide to Hinata's journal.]

There. I just sent you a guide that Shikamaru gave me when I first arrived here. It's all up for your perusal and I think it's a good read. Anyway, to put it simply, we fight for the Malnosso and we usually fight against the Third Party. These drafts aren't voluntary so if your name's announced, you don't have much of a choice. So far, I've only been chosen once. [That was when she was still months old in this place. At least, Temari was with her that time.] More information about that on Section 8 of the guide.

[Hinata nods as the file is sent to her journal.]

I will look this over when we are done speaking, Ino-san. Thank you very much for sharing this with me.

[Hinata will receive this smile in return.]

Hey, it's no problem! We have to stick together, you know, especially in this place. If I can help any, I'll do it.

A-actually, I-I have a request of you, if it might not be too much.

[Now that that is out of the way, Hinata can take a deep breath.]

I-I will consult with Sakura-san and then let you know when we are available. Does that...does that sound acceptable?

Why are we even bringing Sakura? She can't even decide on a good hairstyle for herself.

[In short, she's unreliable when it comes to ~fashion~ but lol Ino's just kidding. She'd love to shop with you girls!]
